Other features that make a pick and carry crane more powerful are its advanced hydraulic boom derricking and articulating operations of chassis. A pick and carry crane may also have a water cooled diesel engine. The amount of weight that a pick and carry crane lifts may range from 9-12 tones or even more, depending upon the model.
